New class registered: ImageDB.mcc

Bodmer Stephan has registered a new class which is called ImageDB.mcc. It loads images in a custom database (via guigfx.library). Read more here.

An update (V0.9) of Bodmer Stephans other class GLArea.mcc has also been released.

New class registered: NListtree.mcc

Carsten Scholling has registered a new class named NListtree.mcc. NListtree.mcc provides you with an easy way of displaying list entries in a sorted form, a so called tree-structure. NListtree is easy to use and easy to convert from Listtree.mcc ((c) Klaus Melchior) which was not updated a long time. Read more here. You can get the class from his homepage.

New versions of TextEditor.mcc and BetterString.mcc

Allan Odgaard has released new versions of two of his classes. Two new tags have been added to TextEditor.mcc and there is one new tag for BetterString.mcc plus some other changes. Both classes can both be found at his homepage.

HexEdit.mcc released under GNU GPL

Miloslaw Smyk has changed the archive with HexEdit.mcc. It now includes the source under the GNU GPL.

NewImage.mcc updated and renamed

Matthias Bethke has renamed his custom class NewImage.mcc. It is now named Guigfx.mcc. The new class (with a few small fixes compared to the last NewImage.mcc release) can be downloaded here.

Warning: Toolbar problems with imagepool.library

The latest release of Toolbar.mcc (V15.6) now includes the possibility of using imagepool.library for caching of images. It should be emphasized though that it will only work correctly with version 0.8 or later. This version can be obtained from the homepage of Linus McCabe (and later at Aminet). You can also get the archive directly here.

New version of the Toolbar class.

A new version of Toolbar.mcc,p is now available. This release is mainly interesting for programmers, because of some new useful attributes. Normal users do not need to download this release now. They can wait until a programmer actually uses the new features.

New contribution to the gallery

Another set of images is now displayed at the gallery. The set is not really new, because it has been on Aminet for a long time. It has been created by Georg Rottlaender.

New class registered: Wheel.mcc

Henning Thielemann has registered a new class named Wheel.mcc. It simulates a wheel where you look at the side. It's like the modulation or pitch bender wheel on a music keyboard. You can get the class from aminet (here).

New section at TUMULT: The Gallery

A new section has been added to TUMULT. It is called 'Gallery' and it contains examples of new image sets for MUI. So far only the work of Mario Cattaneo is present, but hopefully others will follow in the future. Read (and see) more in the new section.

Source code released: TreeList.mcc

John Haubrich has stopped the development of TreeList.mcc, but fortunately he has put the source for the class online. Hopefully someone will pick up where he left.

New class registered: SpeedBar.mcc

SpeedBar.mcc and SpeedButton.mcc allow you to easily create toolbars similar to those you can see in Windows programs (although you can get a standard look as well ;). The author of these new classes are Simone Tellini.

Updated class: TransferAnim.mcc

Linus McCabe has released a new version of TransferAnim.mcc. The new version uses imagepool.library for loading of images and can display transparent images. Read more about the class here.

More changes at TUMULT.

In an attempt to make TUMULT more complete, the registration page now features a list of classes not registered at TUMULT. If your class is on this list then please consider to register it.

The resource page has been updated. You can now find a link to the new unofficial MUI mailing list and you can also find information on how to officially register an MCC.

New service at TUMULT.

Now you no longer have to visit TUMULT regularly if you simply want to keep up with any changes. As you can see at the top of this page it is now possible to get an email everytime there is a change/addition at TUMULT. You can choose between receiving simple notifications or receiving complete news annoncements.

Some changes at TUMULT.

There has been some changes to the links-section of TUMULT. Actually it no longer exists. It has been replaced by the more generally and more appropriately termed resources page. The content is basically the same, but it now includes more detailed descriptions. Please mail any other relevant web adresses.

New TUMULT-registration: Pkb.mcc

This MUI class is aimed towards music applications. It shows a piano keyboard and it handles a maximum of 11 octaves and includes some special features. A preferences module is also provided to edit colours of keys in different modes.

New release of TreeList.mcc

TreeList.mcc is a subclass of list class which provides an easy-to-use hierarchical listview. This release has been fully tested, but does not yet have a reconfigurable look.

Example source for creating MCPs.

A new source release from Allan Odgaard can help you create MCPs. It is the source for the preferences class of BetterString and it is written for StormCPP, but it will probably also be useful for users of other compilers.

Prototype of ReqMenuitem.mcc is available.

Allan Odgaard has released an early prototype of a class which purpose is to make it easier to provide file requesters - especially for typical menu-operations such as Open, Save, Import, Export, etc.

The prototype is released to allow you to see how it works and because the author would like some feedback. Read more about it at the homepage.

New listtree class registered

TreeList.mcc is a subclass of List.mui that provides a GUI tree with all the features of Listtree.mcc but without all the quirks. The current version is BETA -- several methods have not been tested and may (will) crash.

New version of MCC_TWFmultiLED available

TWFmultiLED.mcc changes since v12.4

  • Fixed enforcer hits in Set() method caused by MUIM_GetConfigItem being used before the app was valid.
  • TimeOut is not retriggered if colour is set to 0.
  • Added range check to timeout period.
  • Timeout now actually works properly (It was not activated if the timeout was specified during initialisation.
  • Changed compiler settings to those used in the StormC MCC example provided my Allan Odgaard.

TWFmultiLED.mcp changes since v12.5

  • Added test page to preferences

The next update should include flashing leds (customisable period and on/ off colour) and more shapes.

Released beta version of HTMLview.

The first official beta version of HTMLview.mcc is now available. You can find it by following this link.

Also notice that the HotkeyString-archive (StormC link example) has been updated (it now supports MUIA_VERSION/MUIA_REVISION). Go to the links section to get the new archive.

MCC Example source for StormC

Allan Odgaard has released a simple example of how to make StormC link a custom class for MUI. You can find the archive in the resources section. Be aware that it is not a tutorial for making a custom class.

TWFmultiLED v12.4 is now available.

New in v12.4:

  • Added 4 new colours ("Waiting", "Working", "cancelled" and "Stopped")
  • Added auto-off feature. The LED automatically resets to the "Off" state after a period set by the user or programmer.
  • New demo program.
  • Updated the docs.
  • Included icons and installer script (thanks Kai.)
